Everybody worries about the wrong company.
People lie awake about the custodian. The custodian is a filing cabinet. If it fails, you get a letter and some paperwork.
Nobody worries about the dealer.
The dealer is the one that can actually cost you money when it disappears.
Not because they hold your gold. They do not. They never did.
Because they might have been the only person willing to buy it back.
That is the whole story. Your metal is completely safe. Your exit might not be.
Let us separate those two things properly, because almost everyone blends them.
