There are fourteen cars in front of you and you got your food in six minutes.

That should not be possible. You have sat in a three car line somewhere else and waited longer.

And here is the number that makes the whole thing absurd. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. It gives up roughly 14% of the available week, permanently, by choice.

Six operating days against everyone else's seven. And it still generates more revenue per restaurant than essentially anyone in American fast food.

Sit with that. Less time open. Higher sales. Longer visible lines. Faster actual service.

Every one of those facts argues against the others, which means something structural is going on that the chicken sandwich cannot explain.

It is not the recipe. It is not the sauce. It is not even the famously polite staff, though that is part of it.
